2017 SPRING SOFTBALL REGISTRATION

 

Scituate Youth Center is sponsoring free winter softball clinics:

Thursdays 7-8pm at Hatherly Gym. All ages and abilities are welcome.

 

Softball registration is now available, on-line(see link above) and at Harbour Insurance Agency, registration ends April 1st, 2017.

 

Lower League: grades 3-5 Games Mon & Wed Nights April - June, Practices TBA

Upper League: grades 6-8 Games Tues & Thurs Nights, April – June, Practices TBA

K-2 Clinic Program Friday Nights Begins: TB

 

Registration Fee: $50

 

Coaches and K-2 Coordinator are needed.

 


Coaches will contact you the end of March to let you know which team you are assigned and provide further information. 
All players should have an age appropriate softball/baseball glove. Cleats are recommended (soccer cleats are ok). If you prefer to use your own helmet it must be caged, strapped, & marked NOCSE. If you use your own bat it must be ASA approved fast pitch 2004 or later. We recommend sliding pads and/or sliding shorts for 3rd -5th grade players and require either or both for 6th - 8th grade players.  

All pitchers must wear a protective mask. No exceptions.
